The Universitaire Associatie Brussel in Brussels, Flanders and Europe
The European knowledge society is a major component of our future. The construction of the European Higher Education Area will promote the mobility and employability of citizens, but also enhance the intellectual, cultural, social, scientific and technological dimensions of society.
Already in 1988, the partners of the Universitaire Associatie Brussel committed themselves to contributing to these developments within the framework of the Erasmus programme, to creating networks and to engaging in collaboration in the field of research.
In November 2004, the Universitaire Associatie Brussel and its partners signed an agreement with the Royal Military Academy. As a bilingual institution of higher education, the Royal Military Academy also belongs to the Pôle universitaire européen de Bruxelles Wallonie, whose other members include the ULB and several French-speaking colleges of higher education, such as the Haute Ecole Lucia de Brouckère and the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles.
