History
Since 8 July 2003, the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the Erasmushogeschool Brussel have been joined in the non-profit association Universitaire Associatie Brussel.
The foundation of this non-profit association was the formalisation of the collaboration agreement between the two institutions that was already concluded in 2001. In this agreement, the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the Erasmushogeschool Brussel undertook to engage in an intensive and structural collaboration in the fields of education and research.
